This second vintage Pinot Noir is fuller than the maiden 2014 vintage. The wine appears ripe on the palate with smoky, nutmeg aromas on the nose. Juicy black cherry and cassis flavours combine with rustic gamy undertones to deliver a poised and bright finish. The wine is bright and complex and will drink well for the next six to seven years. There are similar integrated oak tannins to the maiden 2014 vintage but with a more prominent nose and palate with riper fruit flavours at its core.
Decant for up to two hours before serving, serve at 18 °C in deep-bowled Burgundian stemware.
Will pair well with charcuterie, flavoured duck or grilled tuna.
