This Broad Valley 2014 maiden vintage has produced a classically-styled Pinot Noir with herbaceous undertones on the palate, rich forest floor, fruity spice flavours and a savoury finish. Integrated oak tannins stand up well to the expressive and dark ripe red fruit. The wine is expected to develop more complexity and body over time and should be drinking well for the next eight years.
Decant for up to two hours before serving, serve at 18 °C in deep-bowled Burgundian stemware.
Will pair well with fillet tagliata, grilled veal with lemon and olive oil, or game dishes with savoury flavours.
